Wren Sakura, born June 11th 1952- Gemini Wren grew up in Syracuse, New York where she was born. Later she moved with her parents to Manhattan as a young teenager when her father, a doctor was relocated for work. Wren's passion for birds started at a young age when she went bird watching as a teenager with her parents in the Catskills who owned a cabin for weekend getaways. Born on the 11th of June in 1952 to a Japanese father and an American mother from Virginia, Wren still to this day keeps the cabin in and an apartment on the Lower East Side where she likes to further explore her passion for birds, potted plants and all things natural. Working now at a Japanese bookstore in the city, Wren likes to spend her weekends in the country or at The Natural History Museum where she has been a member for over 45 years, even donating some of her wildlife finds such as rare birds eggs and feathers. As a Gemini, Wren is childlike and spirited, she appears on one hand to be birdlike herself in nature but like a lot of New Yorkers she still knows how to pack a punch when she needs too. Wren does looks young for her age and often get’s mistaken for someone much younger than her years. She has a weakness for Chocolate Chip cookies from City Bakery.
